Happy New Year! January is often a time of reflection and self-improvement. MPS is continuing to advocate for increasing access to psychological services for the public and to bring awareness of the many benefits of psychological services. February is Psychology Month and the board is busy preparing and organizing presentations on various psychology topics that the public can attend for free. Please be sure to contact Heidi Tucker if you are interested in doing a presentation. She can assist with booking a venue and advertising for the talk. MPS is also very happy to announce that Dr. Karen Cohen, CEO of the Canadian Psychological Association, will be doing a presentation on “Professional Psychology: Supply, Demand and Need” in Winnipeg on Friday, February 17. Details regarding the time and location of her talk will be provided shortly.
